We're looking for a full-time Automotive Workshop Reception to be the key link between our customers, service team, and technicians. What you’ll be doing: •Welcoming customers at the front desk and handling enquiries with professionalism and care. •Working closely with the Service Manager to schedule and allocate workshop jobs. •Managing reception and phone calls, relaying accurate information to customers and team members. •Entering job data, preparing invoices, and completing other sales administration tasks. •Procuring stock and parts to ensure smooth job completion. •Coordinating inwards goods and workshop logistics. •Supporting the team with a variety of workshop and customer-focused duties We’re looking for someone who: •Has experience in the automotive industry (preferred but not essential). •Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. •Is confident, well-presented, and enjoys helping customers. •Has strong communication skills and a great phone manner. •Is accurate, detail-oriented, and efficient under pressure. •Can multitask and switch between admin and customer service roles with ease. •Is comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. •Familiarity with Orion/Sam System is a plus, though full training will be provided. •Holds NZ residency or a permanent work visa Why join Ace Automotive? Auto Electrical Foreman TIMARU

Newlands Auto Electrical is one of Canterbury's leading automotive electrical businesses, with branches in Ashburton, Rolleston and Timaru. We're looking for an experienced Auto Electrical Workshop Foreman to lead our Timaru workshop. This is a hands-on role where you'll spend time on the tools while also mentoring the team, overseeing workflow and ensuring every job leaves the workshop to the highest standard. No two days are the same. From passenger vehicles and 4WDs through to trucks, agricultural machinery, fleet vehicles and specialist installations, you'll enjoy plenty of variety and technical challenges. You will: •Be a qualified Auto Electrician with solid industry experience. •Have leadership or supervisory experience (or be ready to step into your first Foreman role). •Be confident diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electrical faults. •Enjoy mentoring apprentices and supporting the development of your team. •Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service. •Have excellent organisational and communication skills. •Experience with ARB accessories and installations would be an advantage. •Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence and have the right to work in New Zealand. Radio Communications Lead Technician 

ROLLESTON, ASHBURTON OR TIMARU BASED

Ready to take the lead in a hands-on technical role where your work keeps businesses and people connected? We’re looking for an experienced Radio Communications Lead Technician to lead an exciting part of our business. This is more than a traditional technician role; we are wanting someone who can shape and grow our radio communications capability. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a range of customers, industries and technologies, designing, implementing and supporting radio communication solutions that keep people connected and businesses operating. You’ll be involved in: •Designing, installing, programming and supporting radio communication systems for customers across a wide variety of sectors. •Meeting with customers to understand their needs, recommend fit-for-purpose solutions, and prepare technical advice, quotes and proposals. •Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting radio equipment, RF performance issues and associated systems. •Identifying opportunities to grow existing and new customer accounts. •Training technicians and helping expand Newlands' radio communications capability. What we’re looking for: •At least 5 years' experience in radio communications, radio engineering, or a similar technical role. •Strong skills in installation, programming, servicing, fault finding and RF performance optimisation. •Experience with Tait and/or Motorola products, plus sound auto electrical knowledge, would be highly regarded. •A customer-focused communicator who can explain technical solutions clearly. •A proactive self-starter who enjoys variety, autonomy and developing practical solutions. •A full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.
