“I started with Newlands after moving from Germany two and half years ago. The range and variety of work is a real challenge and takes motivation and hard work but it also makes it rewarding. Normally starting in a firm takes a long settling time but at Newlands it was quick and familiar and quickly became like an extended family. Both at work and in the community, there has been help and a lending hand for me. I’ve found my weekends are really recharging up the hills or out fishing, a lot different to my life in Europe.”
Lucas, Auto Electrical Engineer, Newlands Auto Electrical.
“There’s a large variety of work and plenty of getting out and about in the countryside. We have a positive team and all help each other out. Its great to live out of the big city while still getting a good wage and even starting out it’s much easier to afford a nice house here in Ashburton.”
Jason, Auto Electrical Engineer, Newlands Auto Electrical.
