Newlands are specialist designers and manufacturers of electrical components and systems, primarily for automotive, heavy transport and machinery applications. Predominantly servicing the bus and coach industry, the manufacturing and design operation have been involved in varying industries:
   • Rural (Irrigation control systems, and other farm machinery applications)
   • Heavy Transport - Truck and Trailer (design and wiring stock, spray vehicles)

As a consequence of continual growth in Design and Manufacturing work, in 1994 a custom made workshop was built, to enable our specialist team to centralise the design and manufacturing operation. With dedicated facilities, Newlands are able to offer customised solutions for clients.

Staff:-
The dedicated team at Newlands has many years of combined experience in the auto electrical industry, and guarantee supply of superior products. Our Research and Development leader has been with us for over 22 years, and has a team of trained personnel. In fact all our staff have the skills to multitask, which allows for flexible allocation of resources. We have the knowledge, backed up by years of experience in the design and manufacture of quality electrical components and systems, while our staff continually keep up with trends and developments in the industry, to enhance our knowledge, which enables the delivery of the best solutions for clients.

Designline are one of Australasia’s larger bus and coach manufacturers and have made a success of building vehicles with their innovative designs. They have built almost 2,500 vehicles for the local and international market. Designline customers include operators who come from all over New Zealand as well as Australia, Asia and Europe.

Newlands have been the sole electrical sub-contractor to Designline for over 15 years, a relationship built on the timely delivery of quality products, backed up with strong support. We are proud to be associated with Designline, and in achieving the superior standards customers expect.
