Newlands is a family owned business that began as an auto electrical and battery service centre in 1934.

Today the Company is owned and operated by Managing Director, Robert Newlands, and continues as a major supplier of auto electrical and auto air service, and batteries, to the Mid Canterbury district.  In recent years Newlands has also established themselves as a Power Tool Centre, selling quality power tools and workshop machinery.  Tool and equipment brands sold include Makita, Hitachi and Bosch power tools, Unimig welders, King Tony hand tools as well as Tooline and Hindin Marquip workshop equipment. 

Auto electrical brands stocked by Newlands include Hella lamps and accessories, Century and Optima batteries, Bosch starter and alternator parts and Blaupunkt and VDO-Dayton entertainment systems.

Newlands is situated in Kermode Street, Ashburton, NZ.

ROLLESTON - 2010 sees Newlands expand into the vibrant township of Rollestion.
